For Aged Care, Disability and Childcare providers across Australia.
See how each record adds up.
Four steps from staff list to assessment day.
- 1
Check your workforce
Start with the free workforce audit or send us your staff export. The engine checks your records against each role's requirements.
- 2
See the gaps
See what's missing, worker by worker: an expired check, a registration due for renewal, or training with no evidence on file.
- 3
Close them
Koora chases missing evidence and holds it against each record. Your team reviews it in Koora, or the Crew add-on reviews it for you.
- 4
On the day
A signed export shows what each record said on that date, under the rule version that produced it. Available on Pro and Enterprise.
Meet Koora's compliance engine.
A nurse, a cook and a support worker each need different checks. Koora maps the requirements by role, sector and state, then checks the records you supply to show the gaps.
31 role types. Each with its own checks.
Role by role and state by state, with every expiry tracked. When a requirement changes, every worker is checked again.
Built around the Aged Care Act 2024, the NDIS Practice Standards and the National Quality Framework.
The details that catch providers out.
Role, sector, state and seniority all shape the gap list. Explore a few of the rules the engine already applies.
Every sectorFirst aid two years old? Check the CPR.
The first aid certificate is still current, but the CPR in it is only good for 12 months. The worker also needs a CPR certificate under a year old.
ChildcareEducating in Victoria?
The national child safety course covers every state, and Victoria also requires PROTECT training for direct-care roles. The ACT adds its own course.
ChildcarePromoting an educator in NSW?
Management roles need a child protection unit, CHCPRT025 or CHCPRT026. An older unit like CHCPRT001 still counts, because it maps to the current one.
Aged CareA National Police Check from four years ago?
For aged care screening it has to be under three years old. A National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance meets the rule instead.
DisabilityNot sure a role is risk-assessed?
Until you say otherwise, the engine treats it as risk-assessed, so the NDIS Worker Screening Clearance it needs is never missed.
Aged CareA nurse with AHPRA registration?
Registration isn't screening. Nurses in aged care still need a National Police Check (Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check) issued within the last three years, or an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, like everyone else.
Know what to have on file.
Screening, registrations, qualifications and training. The records you need, and the time you have to prepare, depend on your sector.
Plan around your registration audit
Registration audits are announced, and registration usually renews every three years.
You book the auditor
Registered NDIS providers book their own approved quality auditor, so you can plan the work around the date.
About five days' notice
A full assessment and rating visit usually comes with about five days' notice, which leaves little time to chase a missing record.
Your team reviews each credential in Koora, or Crew reviews it for you. The legal responsibility for who you engage stays with you.
Records you import arrive as already reviewed by your organisation. The lists above are a guide to the worker records an assessor is likely to ask about; your regulator's own guidance sets the full scope.
Book an audit sprint.
Start with your staff list and your audit date. We'll help you see the gaps and plan the work to close them.
