Every worker is a 12-month seat that starts the day they join your book. Your monthly invoice collects that month's new seats plus any seats reaching their anniversary. There is no upfront annual bill outside Enterprise. Your first five workers are free, org-wide, for the life of your account.

Because real work runs behind every worker, and it does not stop at onboarding. Koora verifies identity through DVS and work rights through VEVO, checks credentials at their source where a register exists, re-screens the Aged Care, NDIS and Victorian disability worker ban registers overnight, and tracks expiry across every credential. That is why the rate is per worker per year rather than a one-off onboarding fee, and why there is no setup fee on top.

A review add-on on every plan, never automatic. Trained Australian reviewers work your review queue: first passports, new uploads and renewals. $42 per worker in year one, $18 a year after, itemised on its own line. Crew pre-clears your workforce; the legal responsibility for who works stays with you.

The seat is the same on both: $22 per worker per year, flat at any book size, with your first five workers free. Pro adds the integrations for $50 a month: workers synced in from your HR system, compliance updates pushed out to your systems, the workforce API and webhooks, compliance history and a bigger Kooka AI pool. Nobody pays a different per-worker rate for choosing Pro. Enterprise is the third option: commit a book of 250 or more for 12 months and hold a lower flat rate across the whole book, quoted on a call.

No. Koora is free forever for care workers, with no trials, no tiers, and no credit card. Workers build and own their Career Passport and carry it between employers, and providers pay for passport access to the workers they engage. Optional add-ons are separate. For Kooka AI, every worker gets a free monthly allowance of messages, and workers who want more can buy credit packs themselves inside the app.

Your first five workers are free for the life of your account, on every plan. They are the first five workers you ever add, counted across your whole organisation, and it is applied automatically rather than redeemed with a coupon. It acts as a built-in trial: you see the full Career Passport, verification signals, and ban screening across a real slice of your workforce before paying anything per worker. When one of your first five moves on, their replacement starts a normal paid seat.

The AI-assisted CSV audit and full audit with proof documents are free. AI organises the records and reads the documents; the compliance engine checks role requirements and shows the gaps. Review the results and costs before confirming the import and starting tracking. Your first five workers are free. Complete records pay half the seat rate in year one, on every plan: on Flex and Pro it is applied automatically at import, and on an Enterprise commitment it is agreed into the deal's first year. Gaps pay the plain seat rate, never more. The import wizard shows every gap before you submit, so you can fill them first. Identity, work rights and declarations never count as gaps: only the worker can supply those.

Included on every plan, and already on for every Childcare service: who to sight, what's due, and the upload file for the National Early Childhood Worker Register. A new starter, a renewed credential or a name change each carries its own 14-day deadline. Register Upload lines up who your AP/NS (approved provider or nominated supervisor) needs to sight, and builds the upload file for anyone not yet on the register; you make updates in the NQA IT System and mark them done in Koora. One weekly email goes to your sighters, only when someone needs action. There is no separate charge and nothing to switch on: the sighting and the legal duty stay with your service.

Upgrades take effect immediately: move from Flex to Pro and the integrations become available straight away, and the platform fee starts on your next monthly invoice. The seat rate is the same on Flex and Pro, so no worker's seat re-prices when you change between them; every seat runs its 12 months whichever plan you are on. Moving onto an Enterprise commit is a conversation, since it locks a volume and a rate for 12 months; contact us and we will structure the change fairly against what you have already paid.

Every plan supports multiple services under one organisation, with org-wide worker dedup and a single invoice. You pay per worker, once per organisation: a worker engaged at two of your services is counted and billed once, however many services you run.

Workforces of 250 or more can commit for 12 months on Enterprise, and the commitment is what buys our most cost-effective per-worker rate: one flat whole-book figure locked for the term, one annual invoice, concurrent seats so a replacement takes a leaver's seat free. Nothing for passport access. Koora is free for recruitment and staffing agencies: they see compliance across their own workforce at no cost, with no subscription and no per-worker fee. When an agency places a worker with you, you pay your standard Koora pricing for passport access, exactly as you would for a direct hire.
