Credential review, taken off your plate.
Someone in your organisation checks and reviews credentials today, between other jobs. Crew is the managed service that does it for them: trained Australian reviewers working every document, as an add-on on any plan.
An add-on on every plan, itemised on your monthly bill.
In-house review costs more than it looks.
Each pain, named, and the gain that answers it.
Review always loses to urgent work
Renewals land all year and queue behind rosters and incidents. A certificate can sit unread for weeks, and nobody notices until it matters.
Every document is reviewed as it arrives, each first passport before it's issued. The queue sits at zero without anyone on your roster owning it.
The standard lives in one person
Credential fluency concentrates in whoever reviews most, and it walks out the door with them.
Trained Australian reviewers read care credentials all day, applying one standard. Nothing to train, nothing to backfill, nothing that resigns.
Senior people doing reading work
Document review lands on HR leads and centre managers between other duties, at leadership salaries, with the interruption tax on top.
Your team reads verdicts instead of documents. The hours go back to rostering, retention and the work only your people can do.
Variance is audit risk
Several people reviewing means several standards, and the outlier judgement is the one the assessor finds.
One bar across the whole book, every decision recorded, dated and attributable.
Either way, Koora pre-clears; the legal responsibility for who works stays with you.
We do the reviewing, on your behalf.
Every document lands in one place
Workers share their Career Passports, and the records you hold come across too. Everything that needs checking sits in one place for your organisation.
Verified where a register allows it
What can be checked against an authoritative register, identity, AHPRA, state WWCC portals, Koora verifies at source. The rest is lined up for human eyes, with the checks to run spelt out.
Reviewed and acted on, for you
Trained Australian reviewers read every document as it arrives, apply one standard across the lot, and record every decision, dated and attributable, on your organisation's behalf.
Work out the cost, either way.

50 new starters at 45 minutes each plus 200 workers' renewals at 20 minutes a year. Review arrives as interruptions, and task-switching research (UC Irvine) measures about 23 minutes to get back on task after each one; we price that at 50% on top, conservatively. Staying across the rules is two people (so leave doesn't stop review) keeping current with eight state and territory Working with Children Check regimes and three sector frameworks: an hour a fortnight each, plus a training day a year. Leave, sick days and on-costs are what employing the reviewer adds to every hour: paid weeks not worked (~18%) plus superannuation and other on-costs (~17%), 35% together. Recruiting when your trained reviewer leaves, the cost of a wrong call, and the new starter who can't be rostered while their documents wait aren't priced.
New starters opens at a quarter of the workforce, care's typical annual movement. The hourly figure is the base pay of whoever actually does the reviewing ($45 suits an administrator; review usually lands on HR leads and centre managers who earn more): leave, sick days and super are added as their own line, so the pair lands near the loaded $60 an hour the sector plans on. Slide all three to your numbers.

Zero hours of your team's year.
When to switch it on.
We'd rather name where each answer wins than sell Koora Crew to a team that doesn't need it.
Keep the queue in-house when
- You have a resourced compliance team.
- Your workforce is small and stable.
- You want credential fluency inside the organisation.
Switch Crew on when
- Compliance is a side duty.
- The queue never stops.
- You work across states.
- You want the queue at zero without hiring for it.
Itemised, per worker, on your monthly bill.

Is the record different when Crew does the reviewing?
No. The record, the source checks and the audit trail are identical whether your team works the queue or ours. Crew changes who does the reading, never what gets recorded.
Does Crew take over our legal responsibility?
No. Koora pre-clears the credentials; the legal responsibility for who works stays with you. In childcare, that includes your AP/NS (Authorised Person or Nominated Supervisor) sighting duties under the NQF: Crew prepares everything around that duty, and the duty itself stays with your service.
We already have checked files. What does bringing them across cost?
Workers whose records come across complete skip the first-passport fee: their first year is $18, the same as every year after.
Can we start with our own team and switch later?
Yes. Crew is an add-on on any plan, and the queue is the same queue either way. You can run it in-house first and switch Crew on when the volume outgrows your team, or bring Crew in for busy periods and take it back in quiet ones.
What does Crew actually check on a document?
The credential type, the dates, the issuing state and the name, against the worker's verified identity. Where an authoritative register exists, like a WWCC portal or AHPRA, the credential is checked at source; everything else is manually reviewed. Those are two different levels of assurance and the record always says which one applies.
