Care workers prove the same things over and over. The same certificates scanned for every new employer, the same checks chased across tabs and drawers, the same first week lost to paperwork. Providers carry the other half of that weight: spreadsheets of expiry dates, folders of PDFs, and the quiet worry that something has lapsed.
Koora is the layer in between. A worker carries their record with them, and a provider can look at that record and know the basics are sound.

An update, August 2026
This entry records what shipped on 20 July 2026, and two parts of it have moved since. Checking now runs in layers: the compliance engine checks every record supplied against the requirements for the worker's roles, a person reviews a worker's own uploads once a share or a request exists, and review of the records an organisation holds is the Koora Crew add-on. Pricing has changed too. The plans are Flex, Pro and Enterprise, the first five workers are free across an organisation, and Register Upload, the childcare register workflow, is included on every plan. Current pricing is on the pricing page.
For workers
Your Career Passport, built once. A guided flow takes you through securing your account, verifying your identity and right to work at source, choosing your sectors and roles, and adding your credentials: qualifications, first aid, safety certificates, checks. When something is missing, the training hub shows exactly what remains and where to get it.
Checked properly. Where an authoritative register exists, we check it at the source: AHPRA registration, state Working with Children Check portals. Every other credential is checked against what your roles require, and a trained Australian reviewer reads the documents once you have submitted your passport and shared it. Ban registers are screened and continuously monitored, and if a possible match is ever flagged, you can respond in the app before any decision is made. Your passport shows one clear status per sector, recalculated the moment a credential expires or changes.
Yours to share, yours to revoke. Share your Career Passport with a workplace by search, email or link. See when a link has been viewed. Approve who gets access, and revoke a single workplace or a whole organisation whenever you choose. When you start somewhere new, you are not starting from zero.
Working life, in one place. Expiry reminders before anything lapses. Feedback and kudos from providers that live on your passport and travel with you. Direct messaging with providers. And Kooka, an AI career coach built for care work, where you can see and delete anything it remembers about you.
Your account, your data. Multi-factor authentication, Face ID or fingerprint sign-in, sign-in with email, Google, Apple or LinkedIn, and account deletion with a 30-day grace period if you change your mind.
For providers
Current-state compliance, not filing-cabinet compliance. One workforce view where every connected worker carries a verdict, Compliant, Needs attention or Non-compliant, rolled up from their tracked roles and states as things stand today, not as they stood the day a document was filed. Expiry visibility and exports included.
Passport access, on your terms. Request access to a worker's Career Passport by name, email or mobile, setting tracked roles, states and your National Police Check (Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check) policy up front. Review shared passports credential by credential, with the assurance level shown on every item. Invite workers who are not on Koora yet, or bring your whole roster across in one pass with CSV import. At launch, your first worker was free on any plan.
The checks, at their true level. Ban registers (aged care, NDIS, the Victorian disability register) are verified and continuously monitored. Working with Children Checks are verified through state portals and reflected per state in childcare role verdicts. Everything else is checked against the role's requirements and read by a person once a worker shares their passport with you, shown for what it is, never dressed up. For childcare services, the NECWR register workflow adds a sighting queue and register export for ACECQA's NQA IT System; at launch it came with Growth and Enterprise.
Koora pre-clears the credentials. You keep the legal responsibility for who you engage; we make sure the work in front of you is sound.
Built for teams. Staff roles for admins, managers and viewers. Organisation mode for multi-service groups, with org-wide compliance and a switcher between sites. Kooka AI as a compliance partner that cites the instrument, not "the regulations". Self-serve plans, at launch Flex (pay-as-you-go), Starter, Growth and Enterprise, with webhooks and workforce API access on the higher tiers and direct integrations built on demand.
